BLOG CHALLENGE 90 'HAVE A HEART'

Many thanks to Shelley for her lovely challenge last week - you can see them on my favourites blog.
February 6th was, in the States 'Wear Red Day' just in case you didn't know - so this was one thing that inspired my challenge to you this week, of course Valentines day was the other inspiration.
'HAVE A HEART' is my challenge to you but if you can incorporate someone 'WEARING RED' as well as a 'HEART' then all the better.
As usual you may create whatever you fancy be it atc, card, scrapbook layout, tag, inchie, 4 x 4 - the choice is yours. Add your creation to your blog or email me direct with the picture if you don't have a blog. Leave me a comment with a direct link to your work of art and I will pop over to have a look. Please include a link to my challenge site on your blog. Thanks and enjoy the challenge and make sure you include RED and HEARTS in your creation.
Here is my card for inspiration if you should need it and in case you wonder the background is a photo I took in Canada of some little red love heart sweets in the Lawrence Street Market.  I thought it may come in useful sometime.

CHALLENGE 89 FOUR SEASONS

Many thanks for your lovely entries last week so many new people too - you can see them over on the sampler page.
This week I am honoured to have a lovely new Guest Designer called Shelley - here is what she says:

'I am Shelley and I live on the East Coast of Yorkshire. I was honoured when Cynthia asked me to be a guest designer after I had put my name forward, but also a little nervous as it is my first time as a guest designer.

I own and run the discount card making store 'One Stop Card Crafts'. I have been card making for a little over 3 years. I started jewellery making intially but became hooked on making cards when my mother- in law introduced me to it. There are only couple of craft stores in my area so thought I would put my business skills to opening an online store. We have been open now for 3 years and I have loved every minute of it. I am mother to 3 lovely boys so working from home is ideal.

I also run the challenge blog, 'One Stop Craft Challenge'. A fresh challenge is set every Saturday.

I am currently addicted to digi stamps, I love how versatile they are and great value for money. I like to use ribbon, gems and pearls on my cards. I think they add a lovely touch without costing the earth lol.

The theme I have chosen is 'The Four Seasons'. This can be interpreted in any way, with seasonal colours or with the use of images etc. I have chosen Summer as my season . I have made two cards using the same image but using different colour schemes.
Have fun and I look forward to seeing what you create. Love Shelley'

Here are Shelley's two lovely cards to help inspire you.

So there you are have fun and do make sure you check Shelley's blog too.

CHALLENGE 85 RECYCLE

Well, another new year has started, thanks so much for all your lovely entries last week - so many new folks joined in so welcome all.  You can see the sampler over on the other blog. If there was a prize this week Catt would surely win for all her lovely entries.
I am sure if you are anything like me you would have lots of packaging, labels and paper around the house over the festive season so my challenge to you this week is to RECYCLE something and use it to create your work of art.
I was bought some lovely socks positioned in cupcakes stuck to this wrapper - hmmm - thought it could be used for something and here is the result.

So as usual you may create whatever you fancy be it atc, card, scrapbook layout, tag, inchie, 4 x 4 - the choice is yours. As always add your creation to your blog or email me direct with the picture if you don't have a blog. Leave me a comment with a direct link to your work of art and I will pop over to have a look. Please include a link to my challenge site on your blog. Thanks and enjoy the challenge.
If you feel very brave and would like a second part to the challenge you could use THREE APERTURES as I have done.  Have fun.

If you would like to be one of my Guest Designers this year please add GD to your message posting thanks.
