CHALLENGE 92 STAMPING ON UNUSUAL MATERIALS

Many thanks for your lovely entries last week - you can view them on the sampler on my favourites blog.
Now for the new challenge this week.  I have a lovely Guest Designer Martha who lives in Arizona - a place I have not yet visited but would love to do so.
Here is what she has to say.

'The challenge to you this week is to create something by stamping on unusual materials. The examples below were created by stamping on paint chips or samples from a paint store. Paint chips come in every color of the rainbow (smiles to you Rainbow Lady), and have a lovely matte finish which lends itself to lots of little craft punch items too. Another suggestion is to stamp on printed paper as in the example with the Siamese cats. This example also sports flowers punched from paint chips.

About me:

In recent times, I've become known as "theneon" which is an evolution from many years of impersonation as my alter ego, "The Neon Rainbow." TNR was, and is, a one-person show guided and critiqued by my family, with special guidance from my artist son, Dain, and supported by many friends. TNR has touched many lives while encompassing nearly every aspect of the craft world.

To make a Rainbow, one must have the sunshine. I have endeavored to be that sunshine for everyone who wishes to see it. Ahh, and as there cannot be a Rainbow without the sun, there cannot be a Rainbow without the rain. Raining Rubber stands for my love and passion for rubber stamping. So then, my rubber is the rain; and my smile is the sun. Please stop by and visit me.   I've also included a photo of the paint chips in case you wanted to use it.
Best regards! Martha Kay, aka theneon'

'HAVE A HEART' is my challenge to you but if you can incorporate someone 'WEARING RED' as well as a 'HEART' then all the better.

Please include a link to my challenge site on your blog. Thanks and enjoy the challenge and make sure you include RED and HEARTS in your creation.
Here is my card for inspiration if you should need it and in case you wonder the background is a photo I took in Canada of some little red love heart sweets in the Lawrence Street Market.  I thought it may come in useful sometime.

CHALLENGE 89 FOUR SEASONS

Many thanks for your lovely entries last week so many new people too - you can see them over on the sampler page.
This week I am honoured to have a lovely new Guest Designer called Shelley - here is what she says:

'I am Shelley and I live on the East Coast of Yorkshire. I was honoured when Cynthia asked me to be a guest designer after I had put my name forward, but also a little nervous as it is my first time as a guest designer.

I own and run the discount card making store 'One Stop Card Crafts'. I have been card making for a little over 3 years. I started jewellery making intially but became hooked on making cards when my mother- in law introduced me to it. There are only couple of craft stores in my area so thought I would put my business skills to opening an online store. We have been open now for 3 years and I have loved every minute of it. I am mother to 3 lovely boys so working from home is ideal.

I also run the challenge blog, 'One Stop Craft Challenge'. A fresh challenge is set every Saturday.

I am currently addicted to digi stamps, I love how versatile they are and great value for money. I like to use ribbon, gems and pearls on my cards. I think they add a lovely touch without costing the earth lol.

The theme I have chosen is 'The Four Seasons'. This can be interpreted in any way, with seasonal colours or with the use of images etc. I have chosen Summer as my season . I have made two cards using the same image but using different colour schemes.
Have fun and I look forward to seeing what you create. Love Shelley'

Here are Shelley's two lovely cards to help inspire you.

So there you are have fun and do make sure you check Shelley's blog too.
