RAINBOW LADY'S DESIGN TEAM GEMS

BERYL

'Like many crafters I started as a child with knitting, crossstitch and
crochet. I started making cards when I first got a pc in 1997, then
progressed to papercrafting in 2005 after my niece Terrie came to stay and
showed me what I could be getting up to. I love stamps and stamping - I've
collected more stamps than I'll every use probably - but it doesn't stop me
adding to my collection when I see some 'must haves'. I have made some
lovely friends through crafting, mainly after getting broadband in 2009 and
joining the 'blogging' experience. I'm thrilled to be joining Rainbow Lady's
Design Team and look forward to contributing to the coming challenges'.

CAROLINE

'Hi, my name is Caroline and I have been stamping for about 22 years. I found out about stamping through a magazine advert and after a while I found I wanted designs that were more versatile that those available at that time. I started my own range of designs and ran workshops.A few of my stamping friends and I started the North West Happy Stampers club and a few of us run the Port Sunlight Stamp festival.
Last year I started using digital images from CDs, scrapbooking kits and digital sites, and then began designing digis based on my rubber stamp designs.
I have two children aged 24 and 2, two cats (one's lovely, the others horrid!) and my hobbies are oil painting and gardening...when the sun's out.
I am delighted that Cynthia has invited me to join her DT team and looking forward to taking part in the challenges.'

CLAIRE

'I love most types of craft although I'm totally addicted to rubber stamping and all things inky. I've been papercrafting for about 5 years after seeing a craft show on TV while I was channel hopping. I started blogging last year and  I'm so grateful to have found so much inspiration and friendship from so many lovely people. I love challenges and really find they help me I work full time for a mental health charity and live with my hubby, son, 2 dogs and parrot in the UK. '

'I am a Lancashire girl at heart, but have lived in beautiful North Wales for the past 10 years, where I work part time as a Parish Secretary here in Colwyn Bay, just think of "Father Ted" and you get the picture!! My family are responsible for my love of all things crafty, my Mum was a printer and so paper, letraset catalogues, etc have always been around to play with! I first started selling my cards and drawings when I was sixteen, and it has snowballed from there. My main passion is rubber stamping and anything inky! I am an active member of WI and you will also find me at the Denbighshire Country Market based in Rhos on Sea.'

'I am a Liverpool lass who after moving around the country for quite a few years has settled in Wigan and after all this time can’t see me going anywhere else until we retire. I live with my hubby and dog and spend most of my spare time in the craft room playing.
I love all sorts of things from cd’s, inks and stamps to ribbons and punches, I think you get the picture! My earliest foray into crafting was learning to knit and believe me not easy when you are the only left handed person in the family, I taught myself to crochet and for a while I had a knitting machine and made things to order. I did most of my own sewing and the stall holder on the market used to keep things for me as he knew me quite well.
I now work full time and any crafting has to be done in the evening or weekends so David tends to do the family feeding at weekends, not a great deal of choice or he doesn’t eat!
I am really looking forward to being involved with the challenges and hope you’ll all like what I do or at least most of it.'

LESLEY

'Hi my name is Lesley and I work full time as supervisor of 'the craft shop' in Inverness. When I'm not at work I am usually found at my craft table at home cardmaking, which is my big passion along with scrapbooking'
