SCRIPTED FLORAL CANVAS

Many thanks for your lovely Christmas entries this week - you can see them on the sampler over at Rainbow Lady's Favourites Blog http://rainbowladysfavourites.blogspot.com/. I am trying to avoid slide shows on this site now as they seem to be freezing everyone's screens.

This week a new challenge with the topic SCRIPT. I would like you to feature SCRIPT somewhere on your creation. It could be as a background or the main feature 'tis up to you.

As usual you may create whatever you fancy be it atc, card, scrapbook layout, tag, inchie, 4 x 4 - the choice is yours. As always add your creation to your blog or email me direct with the picture if you don't have a blog. Leave me a comment with a direct link to your work of art and I will pop over to have a look. Please include a link to my challenge site on your blog. Thanks and enjoy the challenge.

Here is my canvas made whilst on the Stamp Addicts retreat last month.
Enjoy the challenge.

BOB'S BIKATHON

A very good friend of mine Bob MacDougall, the Residential Manager at Inverness Prison (I used to teach there and worked closely with Bob) is doing his annual charity bike ride soon. He will be cycling from Inverness to Ullapool, Stornaway, Harris, North and South Uist, Barra, Oban, Mull, Iona, Camusnagul, Fort William and back to Inverness - total round trip 450 miles - yes, he is totally mad! but very fit to be able to cycle so far in 9 days.

He will travel alone taking everything he needs on the bike which includes sleeping bag, food and cooking equipment. The funds he raises will go to two very worthwhile charities, the Children's Hospice Association Scotland and Children 1st.

So, I thought I would try to do my bit by asking everyone if they would like to donate a card or cards to me and I will sell them here in the Highlands and the total proceeds will go to Bob's funds.
If you would like to join in please email me at the address on the sidebar and I will let you know where to send your cards.

Here is Bob's email if you wish to contact him direct with a donationRobert.Macdougall@sps.pnn.gov.uk
