This week the United States celebrate Thanksgiving...we in the UK don't but maybe we should.
So I would like to see your turkeys and pumpkins and puddings and THANKS for all the good things in our lives. Don't forget the boys and girls who have served and are still serving their countries. Let's get them all home soon.
I was over in Miami with my husband last week for a party and the day after 'the do' the family invited us to an early Thanksgiving.. what a surprise and what a fabulous dinner we had.
The house was decorated for the occasion and the food - well what a lot there was - turkey, home cooked ham, pumpkin tart delicious, the most fabulous sweet potatoes made with brown sugar, molasses and marshmallows on top... so yummy and sooo fattening. There was creamed spinach, cranberry sauce and relish, spiced apples, salads and breads and for pudding the fabulous pumpkin pie - I am sure I have forgotten something but you get the picture.
It was our first Thanksgiving and we did really enjoy it and we got invited back on the proper date next year lol. So this challenge is even more relevant to us this week... thanks so much to all involved last week and for making our Miami stay superb.
