Please spare a minute in your busy life to remember Sarah Lawrence.
The crafting world suddenly lost the wonderful Sarah Lawrence last Friday. Sarah was a fun and enthusiastic crafter - with her business Crafty Notions she developed lots of the crafty products we use daily including the wonderful gilding flakes. She had a fabulous sense of humour which could be seen regularly on Create and Craft programmes... she often had the presenters in stitches - Leonie especially lol.
I was lucky enough to meet with Sarah at the NEC... last year via email I asked her to be one of my blog sponsors... she was delighted and said 'Cynthia no-one has ever asked me before' and she gave some lovely products which I gave away to a lucky entrant on here.
When I went to the NEC I went to find her... saying 'hello I am Rainbow Lady' and giving her a small Scottish gift.... she was over the moon and we had a lovely long chat together.
Her family and the crafting world will miss her terribly... I certainly will.
Rest in Peace lovely Sarah... I am so glad I knew you.
This is an addition to the above... last night I lost my very best friend (after my husband)... John my musician friend left us after having a very sudden heart attack on Tuesday night. We had a terrible storm last night and he rode out on it... later in the middle of the night (I was still awake) there was the most wonderful moon... so I am sure that was his doing.
So please forgive me if I don't get to comment on all your entries... hopefully next week I will get back to normal... whatever that may be. Love and thanks to you all x
